If twitter does anything, it will bring us one step closer to a successful Turning test.

It will do this in two ways:

1. Twitter provides an ocean of succinct examples of human communications in text form.
2. Twitter lowers the bar on intelligent human conversation so much that a cat walking across a keyboard could maintain an account.
